I have uart1 set to serial rx the config tab is set for serial based rx sbus and im having no luck. Ive wired it up to a frsky r xsr receiver which is bound to my taranis x9d works ok as you can see from the above diagrams it connects to the ppm. Ive connected the rssi pad on the xm the one on the back near the s pin but it on gives 0 or 33v is this a firmware issue or is the pad out not a linear voltage output. I recommend wiring the receiver to your flight controller first as this is the easiest way to do. The xm also make a great full range micro receiver for mini quads and can be soldered into your flight controllers wiring harness or you can solder on the included header pins so that you can connect to your flight controller using standard jr style servo plugs. Working on two for a friend. I just have to figure out what the pins are so i can connect. I pulled my working receiver so i can try and pull the bootloader from it.
